Will earned his bachelor’s degree at The University of North Alabama, completed a music therapy program at The University of Alabama, and finished his music therapy internship at The STAR Center in early 2024. Following his internship, Will accepted a position as a music therapist at The STAR Center. Will’s favorite part about being a music therapist is seeing the benefits of music therapy as he works with people to reach their goals.

Will has additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT)®. NMT is a research-guided clinical system that is driven by advances in neuroscience and the understanding of the perception, cognition, and production of music and how music can influence and change non-musical brain functions and behaviors.

Will enjoys educating others about the benefits of music therapy and has given guest lectures to students at Union University about music therapy.
