Summer Camps 2016

Arts-4-Autism, June 13-17
The 2016 Arts-4-Autism camp focuses on the role of community helpers -- garbage collectors, mail carriers, firefighters, EMTs, and police. Through the use of art, music, and special guests, campers will become familiar with community helpers and safety. The camp is open to any person of appropriate age with Autism Spectrum Disorder or similar special needs.

Adult Teamwork Camp, June 20-24
The Adult Teamwork Camp features a week full of music and fun, group-based recreational activities. This year's themes are encouragement, finding individual strengths, collaboration, problem solving, and individual responsibility. The Adult Teamwork Camp is intended for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

STAR Art Camp, July 11-15
The STAR Art Camp focuses on fun and educational art-making and art appreciation. Each day, a new artist will be studied and their techniques will be applied to create beautiful works of art. This camp is open to all persons of appropriate age and is provided in a judgment-free, supportive environment. An art show will be held on Friday afternoon for friends and families.

Inside-Out Camp, July 18-22
Based on the Pixar movie of the same name, the Inside-Out camp focuses on moving through one's emotions. Each day will cover a different emotion from the movie: Fear, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Joy and feature fun activities. The Inside-Out Camp is open to all persons of appropriate age in a judgment-free and supportive environment.
